Hon. Dianna J. Gould-Saltman
Judge Dianna Gould-Saltman, retired from the Los Angeles Superior Court in March 2024, where she presided over a direct trial family law court. Following her retirement, she transitioned to working with Signature Resolution as a private Judge Pro Tem and mediator, bringing her wealth of experience and expertise to alternative dispute resolution.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of family law, Judge Gould-Saltman was honored with the prestigious 2023 John Van Duzer Distinguished Service Award from the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Additionally, she received the esteemed 2023 Spencer Brandeis Award from the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, the highest honor bestowed by the organization, recognizing her extraordinary impact on the advancement of family law through creative legal advocacy and dedicated service to the family law community.
Throughout her distinguished career, Judge Gould-Saltman has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the legal profession and the well-being of families. With 25 years of experience practicing family law, including 16 years representing children in family court proceedings, she brings a unique perspective and compassionate approach to her work. A Judicial Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Law and the International Academy of Family Law, Judge Gould-Saltman served as the President of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts from 2018 to 2019.
In addition to her judicial responsibilities, Judge Gould-Saltman has been recognized with numerous awards for her exemplary service, including the Pasadena Bar Association Family Law Section 2013 Family Law Judge of the Year award, the AAML, Southern California Chapter 2014 Don Mike Anthony Award as Los Angeles County Family Law Judge of the Year, the Levitt and Quinn Family Law Center 2015 Outstanding Community Service Award, and the 2015 Association of Certified Family Law Specialists Hall of Fame Award. Her commitment to justice and advocacy for families has left an indelible mark on the legal community, and her legacy continues to inspire future generations of family law professionals.
